Hi. I like you. A lot. And I don't just mean the shiny bits that you put on your resume or volunteer on the first date. I also mean the weird bits - the ones you might try to hide - I even like those. Especially those, sometimes. I like the worn patches and crinkly lines. I like the places that are cracked and glued back together. The soft parts and wobbly bits, the irreverent notions, the silly turns of phrase, the pet peeves, odd habits, and unexpected passions and dance moves.
Normal is boring. All those bits that make you different are also what make you special. They continually surprise me and make me laugh, they push me to think about and to see the world differently, and help me reimagine what is possible. They are what make you, you. And I like you. A lot. All of you.
