SHIPPING

WHEN WILL MY ORDER SHIP? Orders generally ship within  5 - 7 business days (often sooner).  Thank you for your patience! Each card is handmade, packed, and shipped by one real, fallible, over-caffeinated human working as fast as she can (hi!).

HOW DO ORDERS SHIP? Orders ship via USPS, either via First Class Mail or Priority Mail, depending on selected shipping preferences and weight (packages over 13 oz. must be shipping via Priority Mail).  

HOW LONG DOES SHIPPING TAKE? All packages ship from Brooklyn, NY. Packages sent within the U.S. via First Class Mail are generally delivered within three to six business days. Priority Mail packages are generally delivered within three days of shipping within the U.S. However, USPS does not guarantee within a certain time frame for First Class or Priority Mail.

DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?  Yes! Please note that international packages sent via First Class International cannot be tracked through USPS, and that transit times are variable. Packages have been delivered anywhere between 7 and 24 business days. USPS also does not provide tracking for these packages, and we cannot guarantee delivery. Kwohtations is not responsible for any additional customs tariffs or charges that your country imposes on your package, nor can we predict what they might be.

CAN I TRACK MY ORDER?  You will receive a USPS tracking number for all First Class and Priority packages once your order ships. Please note that the USPS tracking is not always reliable.

RETURNS

Unused, unopened merchandise in original packaging and in new condition purchased from the Kwohtations online shop can be returned for a refund within 30 days of the customer’s receipt of order. Shipping costs will not be refunded. Kwohtations items purchased through other retailers must be returned in accordance with their respective policies.

  • Returns must be shipped via a traceable parcel carrier (e.g. USPS First Class Package, FedEx, UPS)
  • Kwohtations will not refund shipping costs for the return of items, and is not responsible for any packages lost by the carrier.

DAMAGED AND/OR DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS

Items shipped in error or received damaged can be returned for refund within 5 days of customer’s receipt of order. Kwohtations will refund domestic USPS First Class shipping costs for the return of any item shipped in error or received damaged and/or defective. Damaged packaging should be kept for inspection by the carrier. Please see above for notification and shipping instructions.

MISSING OR UNDELIVERED PACKAGES

Kwohtations is not responsible for lost, stolen, or otherwise undeliverable packages. We will work with you to the best of our ability to ensure your package is delivered without issue. It is the customer’s responsibility to provide accurate and complete shipping information, including floor, suite, or apartment numbers where applicable. Once an item is shipped out, we unfortunately have no additional way to track your package other than using the tracking number and contacting USPS. If you are having a difficult time locating your package, please contact your local post office. Kwohtations is not responsible for any packages lost by the carrier.

WHERE AND HOW ARE THE GREETING CARDS MADE?

All of the greeting cards are letterpress printed by yours truly at rented presses in Brooklyn, NY. Letterpress is a relief-printing technique, where raised type or images are inked and then pressed into paper, creating a debossed impression. Each piece of paper is carefully hand-fed one at a time into the printing press, to create a unique piece of artwork. Greeting cards with color are then also painted in by hand. 

We are proudly partnered with other small businesses in the USA to screen print and digitally print Kwohtations art prints, tote bags, and other gifts. 

I LIKE THIS CARD, BUT CAN YOU CHANGE A WORD HERE OR THERE?

Unfortunately, given that the cards are letterpress printed using custom polymer plates, we don’t offer customizations for singular items. 

ARE ALL OF THE ILLUSTRATIONS AND WORDS YOUR OWN?

Yes! All of the designs are based on my original hand drawn illustrations drawn with a paper and pencil (and sometimes carved out of a linoleum block), and then digitized and further refined on the computer.  

CAN YOU MAKE A CUSTOM ILLUSTRATION FOR ME?

Perhaps!  I do take on some custom graphic design and letterpress printing projects, depending on capacity. You can find more information on custom projects on the Custom page.
