the best bday card for adult friends ever

this card was accepted with joy, humor, and a sentimental tear or two. it was the perfect vehicle for what i wanted to say to my friend entering her 6th decade (she was turning 51). We got to laugh and reminisce about our time together while wishing things had been better for our younger selves. More importantly, we got to celebrate how much wiser we are now and how much deeper our capacity for joy is. She said she felt SEEN on her birthday.
