Holiday shopping in 2021: 4 reasons why you should shop early

1. SHIPPING DELAYS!

We're still in a global pandemic, and USPS and all other carriers are facing staffing shortages combined with high order volumes. There WILL be shipping delays, especially as we get closer to the holidays. Getting your orders in early will help ensure that your packages arrive in time with the least amount of stress, and that you and the seller have time to sort out issues if needed.

2. SUPPLY CHAIN ISSUES!

There are global supply chain issues right now, and many raw materials and finished products are unavailable or delayed in shipping. Shops may not be able to restock certain items before the holidays if they sell out, so if there's something you know you definitely want, your best bet is to order it sooner rather than later.

3. SAVINGS!

In an effort to incentivize folks to shop early, many businesses are running sales earlier this holiday season - shop early to take advantage of these deals.

4. SUPPORT SMALL BUSINESSES!

Most small businesses are run by one person or a small team, and they often can’t create and ship as quickly as larger companies. But, it’s worth it! What’s wonderful about buying from a small business is that you’re getting goods that are unique and thoughtfully created (and often come with a handwritten note!), and you’re supporting real people’s dreams and livelihoods in the process.
